Empowering Smallholder Farmers

Another key focus of Intertrop GmbH is empowering smallholder farmers to successfully utilize the structures established during project implementation even after project completion. This is achieved, for example, through the development and distribution of innovative products that emerge from our projects.

One of our most successful project-based innovations is the development of jute leaf products made from young jute plants. This innovation originated from our project on the dual use of the jute plant, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles and Jute in Bangladesh.
